Sunshine Mail

I have made some cards for Sunshine Mail Children and added them to the few I had on hand from the last couple of blogs and am getting them in the mail on Monday!!  The children will be delighted I am sure.  There is a shortage of cards and we need your help.  Please take a few minute to make a few or send a few to make a child smile.  They look forward to getting their mail and packages that are sent.  Here is the group of cards that are on their way!!

It makes my heart sing just to think there will be 18 kids smiling when these arrive!  So please get your stash together and create a few.  Thanks for your help.

Brrrrrrr...

Hi my friends, glad to see you're back visiting and taking a look around.  I have a new post to day for Challenges 4 Everybody and it looks "cool".  LOL   I love snowglobes and this one has a really cute image.  So have a look and I hope you like and if so, please leave me some love, I need you to help keep my inspiration going!!  You really help a lot!

I wish I could ice skate, looks like tons of fun, but living so far down south we don't have snow, so I guess that's out.  OH, and the biggest reason I guess is I turned 73 November 20th...  I would definitely land on my butt.. broken bones... and eewww... let's change that subject.  LOL  Just one of those thoughts.. ; ))

The materials used were:
The image is from our fantastic sponsor, Bugaboo, and I think it's precious!
bugaboo
The cardstock is from my stash.
The patterned paper is Snowglobe, by Reminisce, out of the hoarded pile of Christmas paper.  :))
I colored the image with my Copic Markers
Punched Snowflakes with punches from the rack... no name brand
Snowflakes from MTC Gallery.
Ribbon and bling from stash.
I did put a dab of Stickles on center of Snowflakes on image, but hard to photo.

So now, it's your turn to post your creation to win a fabby prize!!

That's it for this challenge, it's been fun and I'll be back soon to post another.

Until then, take care
and God Bless!
Hugs,
Joanie

There is one thing I would like for all my friends to do and that is to also join in and send a card to Sunshine Mail for children that have issues.

Here we go with Challenges 4 Everybody Challenge #33 with digis from our generous sponsor, Sassy Studio Designs and her name is Reindeer Pin Up.  And sassy she is!!  So, with Christmas so close by I decided to do a Christmas card and use this image and make a card for a lady to give to some lucky man.  I think some guy would love to get this card...  Think??

And the image, as I said, is from Sassy Studio Designs and is Reindeer PinUp.
Sentiment is the name of a song I like that is from way back... ummm telling my age again!   LOL
By the way....5 more days and I add another year...73   Where has the time gone?

Okay, scrappers, it's time to get your goodies out of the hoarding pile and make a card for the challenge....  great prize to be won.  Woo hoo!!

Love a Bubbly Bath

Hi, here is Monique taking a bubbly bath and she sure looks like she's enjoying it!  Her big eyes are just showing so much enjoyment with her little yellow ducky.  This post is for Sunshine Mail and we really, really, need your help in sending cards to these children.  We also have so many requests and not enough cards to send, so please, send a card or two for a great cause.  If you would like to be on our design team, please let us know.  You only have to post twice a month, but you can send as many cards as you would like anytime.  We just need help and those of you that are scrappers can make a card in a zip!

Oops!! got a little carried away there.  Here is my little Monique.

My image if from our generous sponsor Big Heads.

All of the ingredients for my card is from stash.
I did add some google eyes just so Monique could see all the bubbles floating around her.  LOL

Smile

Hi, welcome and come on in!  If you're a new visitor glad you stopped by and if you're a regular so glad you're back, so just look around my blog and hope you leave me some love because that's where I get my inspiration.  So let's get going here!!

Sunshine Mail Foundation is all about brightening up someone’s mailbox. With that in mind, we have decided to extend the movement once each month to bring just a little bit more sunshine into the world. Each month we will be hosting a challenge for you to help brighten someone’s day with Sunshine Mail.
This month, we are asking everyone to send a note to a family member to brighten their day.

http://www.sunshinemail.org/

So I have made a "Smile" card and this will be sent to my Sister-in-law who has Stage 4 cancer in her throat and also Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer, so yes, she needs lots of smiles and Prayers.

This will go out tomorrow in the mail to her and I hope it helps brighten her day.

The sentiment on the inside says:
Just wanted to let you know God and I are thinking about you.

I always smile when I think of you!

The adorable image is from our generous sponsor

The ingredients used for my card are:
Paper from Lily Bee, Double Dutch
The die cut is a new one I just got from Spellbinders, Label 31
I used Copic Markers to color my image.
The Sentiment punch is from Stampin' Up

The Challenge is "Anything Goes", so why not join in and have some fun!!
Also, if you make your card for a child you can also mail it to the Sunshine Foundation and one of the children will be so happy to receive your mail.
Click on the "blue" link above and check out what you can do to put a smile on a child's face.  If you're not a Scrapper or Card Maker you can purchase a card or two.  Also, they are in need of other things that you may be able to help out with.
So I hope you give it a try!!

So scrappers get Scrappin' to make it Happin' !!

Until next time
Take care and God Bless
